Eclaro International is currently recruiting for a Video Engineer for one of our financial services clients.

Job Description:

Work with Architecture team on delivery of Video standards and designs consistent with strategy
Develop engineering standards based on Architectural strategy
Drive standards across the environment as needed or as part of large scale transformations.
Work across multiple vendors, integrators, and internal partners to produce technically excellent solutions aligned to business needs and direction
Work with IT stakeholders to build and support a scalable, efficient, and stable network.
Manage highly visible deployments of end user solutions and room systems for conference rooms globally.
Provide advice and recommendations specific to customer requirements to vendors and partner teams.

Key Responsibilities
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deliver solutions based on business requirements or defined standards within the technology organization
Ensure seamless integration of video solutions into the environment including contribution to toll gate process for introducing new service
Consult with some LOB as a subject matter expert (SME) for Video solutions
Meet with business to define requirements, demonstrate solutions, and collect feedback
Develop solutions that incorporate user requirements, system functionality, and support considerations to deliver a fully functional end to end user experience
Communicate with a wide range of teams related to Video solutions and deployments
Interact with partner teams on process improvement and knowledge development to improve service
Oversee risk, audit, and compliance items in the space, drive solutions, and monitor to closure
Assess the resource requirements for deployments, secure resources, and drive to completion
Ability to describe issues, escalate, and articulate impact to affected users and leadership as needed
Engages in high severity production incidents and problem tickets in support of any RTC redesign requirements
Provide feedback to Architecture and Product teams as to the catalog of standard products, and business requirements for changes to the catalog

Enterprise role overview:

Leads and/or participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering activities involving cross-functional technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Responsible for components of highly complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Establishes input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility, coordination of subsystems design, and integration of total system. Viewed as a technology subject matter expert; able to provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and/or vendors. Will have responsibility for multiple, complex projects; will direct activities of teams related to special initiatives or operations and may have direct reports. Leads the resolution process for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Information Technology degree and/or technology certifications preferred or substantial equivalent experience. Typically 7-10 years of IT experience.

Technical Skillset :

In-depth knowledge of Cisco Collaboration solutions, including voice, video, data, conferencing, and endpoints.
Integration experience with Cisco CMS (formerly Acano), Sonus Client, Cisco TelePresence, TMS/TMSXE, Collaboration Edge, Avaya, Genesys, NICE, B2B, Polycom and Cisco/Tandberg systems, Skype 4 Business
Experience with desktop video product integration, especially Microsoft Skype for Business.
Knowledge of leading industry disruptive technologies such as SDN and impact on Voice, Video, and Collaboration.

In-depth knowledge of video and networking protocols such as SNMP, H.323, SIP, RTV/RTP, AVC/SVC, H.264/265, H.239
Competent working knowledge of networking and protocols, Active Directory, MS Exchange, Perimeter Security Technologies.

Professional Competencies :

BS or BA in engineering or computer science, or
10+ Years of experience in technology field. Experience in financial industry is preferred
Proven leadership skills in a high pace, highly technical solutions environment
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of customers and leadership
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and respond under pressure
