Position Overview:
  • EUC DMP Product Management Specialist for Windows Desktops is primarily responsible for driving product strategy and roadmap, measuring product performance and reporting product metrics to leadership.
  • They serve as subject matter expert for all Windows Desktop product related activities, issues and processes, performing business analysis and translating business requirements for consumption by technical teams and business leadership.

  • Defining and prioritizing IT and business requirements for Windows Desktop 
  • Develop and gain agreement on success criteria for new service offerings 
  • Maintain compliance with architectural principles and guidelines, Legal and Regulatory requirements 
  • Monitor the progress of multiple work streams that are engaged in the delivery of the service.
  • Coordinate deliverables of each stream in order to meet agreed timelines to deliver the service to production 
  • Provide regular reporting on progress to management 
  • Maintain a Risk and Issues register to track identified or possible items that have the potential to delay or stop delivery of the service.
  • Act as main point of contact between the customer, all Engineering streams and the vendor (s) providing any services.
  • Maintain awareness of delivery timelines for service-related hardware and follow-up on any issues with vendor

  • Educated to bachelor's or master's degree level in Computer Science, or a related discipline, from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant professional certifications beneficial; MCSE, Citrix, MS Azure Cloud etc
  • 5-10 years' experience in an equivalent Windows Desktop Product Management role in a global, enterprise-scale environment preferably in the Financial Services industry 
  • Knowledge and experience with the following preferred technologies or, minimally, direct equivalents.
    • Microsoft Windows 7/10 operating systems and associated infrastructures 
    • Microsoft's Configuration Manager (SCCM) o Intune, Azure, AutoPilot o End User Experience monitoring software 
  • Work across countries, regions and time zones with a broad range of cultures and technical capability 
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and with executive levels. Relationship management skills 
  • Broad ITIL / best practice service context within a real time distributed environment (ITIL v3 foundation desired) 
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies

Preferred Skills:
  • In IT in large corporate environments, specifically in the area of controlled production environments or in Financial Services Technology in a client-facing function 
  • Experience of supporting complex application and infrastructure domains 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work effectively in Windows teams and in matrix structures 
  • Working knowledge of incident tracking tools (i.e. Servicenow etc.) 
  • Compliance and reporting
