Responsibilities:
  • Will be responsible for creating business solutions to improve the overall efficiency, productivity and management of operating organizations by developing Tableau dashboards and other reporting systems to create visibility into data and performance trends.
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders to discuss organizational needs and gather dashboard requirements.
  • Expected to be the primary Tableau Developer and work closely with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and IT to ensure data view tables and data sources are accurate and efficient.
  • Will be a key member of team that gathers and writes detailed business requirements and translates them into technical specifications/ System Requirement Specifications (SRS) including describing system interfaces and business process specifications.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-5 years demonstrated experience and expertise with the following technologies and skills:
    • Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management)
    • SQL (able to write and edit queries)
    • Build & publish interactive dashboards on Tableau Server.
    • Scheduling Dashboard for automatic data refresh.
    • Data blending.
    • Create action filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
    • Test, clean and standardized data to meet business standards.
 
Skills:
  • The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset:
    • Requires working in a cross-functional organization and highly dynamic work environment with competing business priorities.
    • Therefore, must also demonstrate the following working characteristics:
      • Must be well organized, detail oriented with demonstrated flexibility to handle multiple assignments
      • Must be comfortable working directly with business users, as well as IT team members.
      • Must have excellent oral communications skills, and writing skills.
