Responsibilities:
  • Provide enterprise-wide system and network support for a Microsoft Teams deployment with Dell Server infrastructure as well as the legacy Skype for Business environment
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business issues
  • Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures
  • Manage patches and updates
  • Participate in the definition and implementation of system components, following best practices, including new Teams servers, hardware, software and upgrades
  • Technologies integrated in this high availability 24/7 Microsoft Teams enterprise environment include: Windows Operating Systems, VMWare, Citrix XenApp, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Skype for Business Enterprise Voice, MS Teams, Active Directory, and Storage Area Networks. Ability to troubleshoot and determine specifications related to these technologies to support MS Teams
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years relevant systems analysis/support experience
  • 7+ years of experience directly administering and supporting Microsoft Window Server
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, NTFS and Client
  • Networking TCP/IP, VoIP, DNS and DHCP
  • Knowledge of voice protocols such as SIP, as well as Azure AD Connect
  • Previous experience deploying, administrating and/or supporting Enterprise Unified Communications solutions
  • 5+ years of experience with Skype for Business
  • 3+ years of production experience supporting MS Teams
  • 3+ years of production experience supporting Session Border Controllers (Client)
  • Knowledge of creating Client Interfaces
  • Experience with Client Voice integration
  • Configuring Signaling Border Element
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data capture and trace logs to resolve customer issues in production environments specific to authentication, messaging, SIP or VoIP, Unified communications
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving problems on Skype for Business, MS Teams, environments setup with Lync Server / Skype for Business Server 2015-2019
  • Experience working with network capture/analyze tools: Netmon, Wireshark, HTTPs decryption tools, etc.
  • Understanding of industry best practices surrounding proper maintenance and support of a 24x7 server infrastructure
  • Experience with security/vulnerability patching of Lync servers, Client's, and other Windows environments
  • Experience with creating custom scripts using Microsoft PowerShell and vSphere PowerCLI
  • Experience with storage configuration and management: Dell Compellent, Nimble Storage, NetApp, EMC
  • Physical capability to install/de-install server equipment in a data center environment
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical issues and offer solutions
