Responsibilities:
  • Will be responsible for the following:
    • Plan and deploy new installations of SCCM
    • Utilize SCCM to deploy Windows 10
    • Utilize SCCM to patch desktops
    • Utilize SCCM to deploy applications
    • Over Three years of extensive hands-on experience with SCCM
    • Experience installing SCCM site servers and site server roles
    • Experience configuring SCCM boundaries and boundary groups
    • Experience deploying and configuring SCCM clients
    • Experience configuring SCCM operating system deployment task sequences (or equivalent experience with MDT/WDS)
    • Experience deploying applications using SCCM
    • Support third party applications
    • Respond to Help Desk escalations for work orders including file restores, permission changes, share creations.
    • Write and modify PowerShell scripts to automate common administration tasks.
    • Provide server and client support for specialized applications.
    • Perform hardware upgrades and software patches to servers and clients.
    • Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and application failures to resolution.
    • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, and software support
    • Install and upgrade computer components and software, and integrate automation processes
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
    • Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT software
    • Will act as 2nd tier escalation for help desk and hardware technician
    • Provide support for remote access setup and troubleshooting
    • Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Competencies should include the following:
    • Excellent customer service
    • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS/CIS/Engineering with minimum 5 years relevant experience.
    • Must have Windows Server administration experience.
    • Intermediate scripting ability in PowerShell.
    • Knowledge of IT Compliance and ITAR requirements preferred.
    • Excellent knowledge of Windows share permissions and print server administration.
    • SCCM administration
    • Experience with VMWare virtual server creation and administration.
    • Experience building, troubleshooting, and maintaining physical server platforms.
    • Demonstrated network troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
