Position Overview:
  • Provides technical leadership related to new and existing sterile drug products being transferred to external partners
  • This position supports the technology transfer lead ensure design and transfer of robust manufacturing processes for new products and key life cycle management products
  • Additionally this position supports optimization and continuous improvement in manufacturing operations, setting relevant standards and creating and maintaining associated procedures
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support parenteral technology transfers by participating in tech transfer teams and authoring key enabling documentation
  • Support authoring and optimization of tech transfer business processes
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including R&D and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO's)
  • Assess both internal and external manufacturing capabilities against current Client and industry technical standards for advanced commercial aseptic processing
  • Interact and engage with a core team of specialized experts with necessary capabilities to support the Client portfolio of products and complement site capabilities
  • Review and verify CMC filings (US and ROW)
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical or chemical/mechanical engineering or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry in the commercialization/tech transfer of biologics drug products
  • Knowledge of parenteral/sterile manufacturing
  • Understanding of project management systems and tools
  • Very strong analytical, technical writing, verbal communication
  • Ability to influence areas not under direct control to achieve objectives
