Position Overview:
  • Leads/supports execution of sourcing projects in collaboration with Procurement category owners and sourcing managers.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Accountabilities include:
    • Assist in the preparation of and/or issue Master Service Agreements and SOWs for legal review and approval
    • Support and/or lead execution of procurement plans depending on category/project complexity
    • Assist with identification & screening/selection of potential sources and recommend appropriate sourcing method
    • Assist with preparation of competitive go-to-market events (request for proposals, solicitation of bids, quotations and proposals) with pertinent specifications, terms and conditions and legal clauses
    • Evaluate proposals, assess risk and recommend overall best offer for a service
    • Perform GAP analysis on various agreements
    • Understand Indirect Service requirements and translate them into Indirect sourcing projects including RFx's, RFS's, Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work
    • Work collaboratively with Business Partners, Category and Functional Leaders to achieve strategic objectives
    • Develop and review master service agreements and statements of work
    • Contract Negotiation and Development ability to negotiate and draft Commercial Terms and defend Legal Terms on standard internal template for Commercial Services
    • Build, maintain and enhance relationships with leading suppliers and internal stakeholders
    • Leads in development and evaluation of supplier Request for Information/Proposal/Solution including ensuring comprehensive requirements and specifications, pricing models and contract terms are included
    • Lead and manage the full RFx process from development thru contract execution
    • Evaluate competitive offerings to determine the overall best offer for goods or services
    • Negotiate and/or issue contracts, amendments, and attachments obtaining legal review and approval of a contract when required
    • Facilitate and lead appropriate contracting processes
    • Manages multiple, complex projects independently
    • Aligns Procurement goals with client's business objectives
    • Partnering with internal stakeholders to implement appropriate Change Management.
    • Processes Drive sustainable/substantial cost savings and value beyond savings for Customer Engagement category
    • Utilize e-Procurement tools to manage sourcing projects
    • Operate as trusted advisor by providing procurement insights and subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders
    • Manage selected internal and external relationships with suppliers, cross-functional and/or multi-functional teams
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required Finance, Supply Chain, Science and/or Engineering
  • 2-4 years of work experience
  • 1-3 years in Indirect Procurement Services Category
  • Experience in evaluating the market, assessing suppliers, contracting and financial analysis
  • Must have contracting experience
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements
  • Must have Ariba experience
 
Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with and manage internal stakeholders at all levels within a highly matrixed organization, working across cross-functional, cross-organizational teams
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (advanced)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively
