Responsibilities:
  • Support the commercial team and drive sales of our retrosynthesis software in the North American market
  • Reach the sales target by working through your sales pipeline and converting leads to wins
  • Grow sales pipeline using social media
  • Work very closely with customers to identify their need and develop a pricing proposal
  • Deliver and manage quotes and negotiate contracts ultimately leading to execution of the sales of a software product
  • Work closely with R&D team to ensure timely input of updates needed to the software based upon immediate customer need, gap filling, or space of interest to the business
  • Provide customer demos and training in collaboration with the R&D team
  • Identify new potential leads for service contracts
  • Ensure training for internal stake holders in general sales, technical support and sales support.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Drive pre-sales activities including developing and planning solution presentations, demonstrating conceptual & proposed solutions, providing technical/product guidance etc.
  • Pursue and develop sales opportunities with client sales teams
  • Identify new sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts and leveraging networking opportunities (i.e. conferences, industry forums, etc.)
  • Work closely with Sales teams to deliver and manage quotes, CDAs, negotiate contracts for sales of software license to customers
  • Provide advanced training and follow-up with excellent client support during onboarding and throughout lifetime of contract
  • Support training for internal stakeholders in general sales, technical support and sales support.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • 2 years of sales hunting experience in life science or software solutions domains.
  • Bachelor in Chemistry or related life science.
 
Preferred Experience:
  • Software/SaaS sales experience, selling experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector.
