Position Overview: 
  • The primary role entails defining integration and separation plans for the End User domain with regards to merger, acquisition and divestiture.
  • These activities are complex and necessary to ensure the controlled integration or separation of key systems which impact the day-to-day user productivity experience.
  • This is a key role in establishing strategic direction and execution of the Product Portfolio in support of these activities and aligned with business needs.
  • Key interfaces will be product and service managers, team leaders and third-party technical consultants and IT teams.
  • Ensure solution architectures are designed to enterprise architecture standards.
  • Create technical planning artifacts such as options analyses and solution approach/design, and are key contributors to service design such as product/service RACI, engineering and operations process.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Understand client’s end user infrastructure including device management, collaboration and productivity systems architectures and policies.
  • Create or follow a playbook approach to Client and inventory target company end user infrastructure technology.
  • Thoroughly understand client’s business needs related to corporate merger, acquisition, divestiture related to end user technologies - translate those needs to high and low level architectural designs, options analysis, and solution approaches through artifacts such as roadmaps, user context/user journey diagrams, and business benefit descriptions.
  • Be a champion of the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible.
  • Technical point of contact to other I&O delivery towers such as directory services, network, cloud, information security.
 
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years experience with breadth and depth of knowledge across the end user technology domain: Device and Data access (endpoint management, browser, provisioning techniques, identity & access (PC, iOS, macOS), Real Time Collaboration (A/V conferencing, events, conference room design, telephony); Content Collaboration (document management, web collaboration, messaging, workflow automation, productivity software); directory services; data and access security best practices;  application packaging and delivery.
  • Experience with technology merger or acquisition integration, and divestiture separation principles and practices, creating and following a repeatable playbook approach.
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution or demonstrated equivalent ability in written/verbal communication, technical document creation (Visio, PowerPoint) and critical thinking.
  • 4+ years experience in a solution architecture role and knowledge of architectural principles, best practices, and frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, CMM, NIST, SAFe
  • Experience in other service delivery functions and domains such as engineering, operations, support in networking, data center, distributed compute, cloud, etc, is helpful.
  • Broad and deep End User technology experience especially in O365 configuration management, end user technology separation and integration architecture, technical options analysis and technical architecture diagramming/documentation

  • An ability to think strategically and creatively, with the capacity for self-motivation, independent initiative and creative problem-solving.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, writing clear and concise proposals, diagrams and presentations appropriate for executive staff or engineering.
  • Comfortable proactively reaching out to technology and business partners, facilitating conversations and technical workshops.
  • The ability to discern priority, manage time and schedules for self and staff to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
  • A diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition, as well as the ability to set and manage expectations at the executive level.
