Position Overview:
  • Contribute to the evolution, maintenance, and standardization of the commercial social media processes and documentation that is used by all Client brands
  • Work with internal and external partners (agency partners, platform vendors, and technology platforms) to drive innovation in social media and to vet, test, and learn from concepts
  • Maintain existing social properties on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Develop, build, and launch new properties and platforms as they are adopted
  • Provide social channel strategy and functional expertise to our marketing partners
  • Reinforce the channel operating model, channel standards, and industry best practices
  • Partner in identifying needs for social capabilities and solution enhancement across the enterprise that contributes to the capability roadmap
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure campaign delivery, performance, and goals are fulfilled as scheduled
  • Identify, develop, implement, and manage social media capabilities and execution
  • Build and manage social media programs based on campaign objective
  • Manage and evolve our social media moderation processes
  • Maintain organic editorial calendars for multiple social media channels and properties
  • Provide input on social media initiatives as they go through Legal, Medical, and Regulatory review, as needed
  • Collaborate and build strong relationships across Client teams (Marketing Hubs, IT, MLR, Public Affairs, and Business Units) on key activities like planning, prioritizing, and implementing support for key omnichannel capabilities
  • Build and maintain subject-matter expertise on Client and external/industry social/digital capabilities
  • Identify and prioritize key social channels and influencers and establish standards on how our brands can effectively engage and interact with those key social channels and influencers
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of conceptualizing and running social media programs for organizations
  • 4-year degree
  • Hands-on experience with Social Media Management tools and systems used for publishing, listening, advertising, approval workflows
  • High accountability and strong communication skills
  • Organic and paid social media process experience
  • Deep technical expertise in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and other major social networks
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pharma, Healthcare, or experience in another regulated industry
  • Experience in a matrix team
