Position Overview:
  • Serve as the Administrator and Business Analyst for the Portal platform.
  • Will be the go-to person for any portal related questions/issues, will provide necessary support to users of the portal, liaise with various business groups and the Technology team for continuous process improvements as well as to, in the long run, expand the usage of this platform.
  • Will also be responsible for building dashboards, exception reports and escalation matrix to ensure efficient and smooth functioning of the portal.
  • As part of immediate responsibilities, will oversee the UAT and production parallel operations of the platform being conducted by Investor Services and Controllers.
  • Will work very closely with various business teams to support them with their daily UAT tasks and liaise with the Tech team to deploy fixes for the bugs/enhancements identified by the users.
  • Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and analytical/data-oriented skillsets are required.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Go-to person for the business users for any questions/issues/requests related to the investor portal
  • Liaise between the business users and the Tech team
  • Create dashboards, exception reports and escalation matrix
  • Provide periodic executive summary & trend analysis to senior leaders - "pulse on health of business procedures
  • On-going support for users on the platform
  • Work closely with the business users to execute UAT scripts and facilitate testing
  • Reference data management
  • Continuously assess processes and procedures to define & document enhancement requirements and reporting needs
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new business requirements
  • Prepare and maintain procedure documentation for the team
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of related technical/data analytics/reporting experience
  • Administration experience of Salesforce.com or other CRM system and/or eFront a plus
  • Basic understanding of Private Equity & Alternative Investments a plus
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Proven business improvement/problem solving skills
  • Experience working with Tech team for requirement gathering, UAT and implementation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
