Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing Risk, Finance and Treasury projects or workstreams within a larger programme with a focus on ensuring that the relevant and appropriate analysis are performed, shaped in appropriate management information and presented to the relevant governance bodies and committees
  • Responsible for in-quality delivery within agreed budget, resources and time frame, issue resolution and risk management
  • Close collaboration with the wider programme group to ensure alignment with programme principles and objectives
  • Responsibility and management of (cross-) divisional peer reviews and drive development of internal best practices
  • Ensuring the documentation and tracking of programme/project relevant (inter-) dependencies, risks, issues, actions for mitigations and other related artefacts
  • Ensuring that an appropriate programme steering group is in place, providing a targeted status reporting on a regular basis including transparency on risks, issues and dependencies, as well as making recommendations on any required decisions
  • Responsible for active stakeholder engagement by ensuring a close collaboration with key stakeholders across the client and by working closely with SMEs (e.g. product specialists) to collect, balance and prioritize business requirements
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree or above, preferably with a focus on economics, business administration, mathematics, (business) informatics (or equivalent)
  • Ability to apply previous disciplines and skillsets across various areas such as Risk, Finance and Treasury in order to achieve strategic alignment and program objectives
  • Extensive working experience in the financial services industry and a clear understanding of Risk, Finance and Treasury key processes and systems
  • Extensive working experience in managing large scale (cross divisional/multiple geographies) projects/programmes across the full project/programme lifecycle along with previous experience in organisational analysis and design
  • Significant experience in risk management, effectively identifying and assessing risks within a project/programme along with developing and implementing sustainable mitigating actions
  • Actively support the development of team members in identifying strengths and weaknesses, in providing suggestions for improvements and in maintaining a constructive and open feed-back culture
  • Support knowledge sharing within the team in conducting coaching and trainings and thus drive for high performance
  • Ability to effectively deliver results in environments or projects that are nonlinear, fast-paced, and often characterized by incomplete information and stakeholder disagreements delivering a timely and comprehensive output
  • Advanced skills in effective stakeholder management along with advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to discuss and face different points of view or disagreements in a constructive manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English across all levels along with the ability to quickly adapt communication styles to different audiences
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with Microsoft products (e.g. Excel, Word, Visio, Power-Point, MS Project)
  • Beneficial but not mandatory certificates in PRINCE 2, PMI, or any other project management certification
  • Proactively seeking opportunities for continuous development of personal capability and identifying potential sources for new ideas and approaches, leading to an improved performance
