Responsibilities:
• Managing team's overall efforts to assess performance of models for the use of continuous through various quantitative approaches such as backtesting, benchmarking, and sensitivity analysis
• Reviewing outcomes of model performance monitoring incl. assessment of model limitations for clear conclusions and actions to be taken to remediate/escalate
• Discussing the results of model performance analysis with all model stakeholders, presenting to senior management and regulators across the globe
• Leading efforts for initiative projects involving various teams to develop/implement more robust and improved model performance monitoring strategies, frameworks, and processes
• Boosting synergistic effects across various models and platforms for efficiency and optimization
• Driving operational excellence

Qualifications:
• MS or PhD degree preferably in quantitative finance, financial mathematics, and similar quantitative discipline
• 10+ years of experience in related fields such as model development, model risk, market risk, counterparty credit risk management, and quantitative middle office or similar
• Broad financial product knowledge and strong analytical and programming skills; past experience in python and latex is desirable
• Experience in regulatory exams and CCAR
• Effective managerial skills to lead team members and lead initiatives across the globe
• Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with personnel across areas and regions
• Ability to multitask with excellent time management and prioritization skills for multiple projects
• Sense of focus and rigor in the completion of deliverables
• Willingness to work under pressure to meet deadlines
