Use your skills where innovative technology solutions begin. Eclaro is looking for a Project Manager with Data Migration Exp for our client in Hoboken, NJ.  This is a remote position with travel involved.

  • Should have around 8-10 years of experience in Data migration, Retention and Data infrastructure
  • Meet with clients or management to understand data migration requirements and needs
  • Strategize and plan an entire project, including moving the data and converting content as necessary, while considering risks and potential impacts
  • Audit existing data systems and deployments and identify errors or areas for improvement
  • Cleanse or translate data so that it can be effectively moved between systems, apps, or software
  • Oversee the direct migration of data, which may require minor adjustments
  • Test the new system after the migration process as well as the resulting data to find errors and/or points of corruption
  • Document everything from the strategies used to the exact migration processes put in placeincluding documenting any fixes or adjustments made
  • Develop and propose data migration best practices for all current and future projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines for all migrated data
  • Coordinate engagement of all internal and external dependencies
  • Excellent analytical and observation skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills, an ability to present concise reports and recommendations
  • Excellent planning and organization ability
  • Excellent time management skills and understanding the value of a baseline
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
  • Ensure methodology compliance - auditing, phase gates/tollgates and tracking ongoing projects, using the agreed tools, at regular intervals to ensure projects are on course and follow the approved methodology
  • Prepares regular insightful reports and communications to stakeholders on project status, schedule and costs
