Procurement Specialist
Eclaro is looking for a Procurement Specialist for an opportunity for our client in WHITE PLAINS, NY.

Project Overview:
This role will support the Strategic Supply Management and will be responsible for performing procurement duties/functions to assist the client buyers with handling the day to day operations and includes but is not limited to: obtaining Performance/Payment Bonds, Certificates of Insurance, tracking certificates of insurance, confer with buyers and/or department project engineers to determine progress of work and completion dates, assist buyers in the review of uploading information to the SharePoint file, and other work as needed.

Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Assist Buyers with obtaining certificates of insurance and performance and payment Bonds for projects.
  • Track certificates of insurance forms
  • Assist Buyers with tracking deadlines or milestones on projects.
  • Upload information to SharePoint
  • Prepare and maintain expediting reports
  • Expedite internal clients for the proper information/preparation of documentation required for RFQ, RFP, RFI, Scope of Work, Specifications Schedule, Compensation Schedule, Trustee Information, Pricing, etc.
  • Expedite proposals, receive and record ? send to Internal Customer
  • Expedite internal customer for the proper preparation of PO documentation, award recommendation, PRs, confirmed scope, conformed specs,
  • Witness bid openings
  • Assist in creating Abstract, bid tabulation
Skills:
  • Experience with an Enterprise Content Management System/Records Management System; proficient with Open Text Content Server and SharePoint preferred
  • Knowledge of a variety of scanning devices
  • Microsoft Office/Outlook skills, knowledge of Access, and strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to successfully prioritize work on multiple tasks.
  • Good organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to use sound judgment.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with team members.
  • Exceptional customer service and strong interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work in an engineering/utilities, highly regulated environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
