Eclaro is looking for a Process Support Specialist Change Management for our client in Bethesda, MD

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate Application Change requests and notify the client of any non-compliance
  • Build working relationship with client and Vendor team
  • Update Application Change request statuses as required on the ITSMS
  • Coordinate with Client and third party stakeholders to gather the required data to complete the Application Change request
  • Verify that the priority of the proposed Application Change was correctly set
  • Ensure changes can be successfully deployed in a timely manner, and do not have conflict with other changes
  • Provides an approval recommendation
  • Agree with all Service Provider and the client's stakeholders upon a preliminary schedule for Application Change implementation
  • Monitor Change Records in the ITSMS to ensure timely and accurate closure of each Change Record or notifying the client stakeholders in case of any failure
  • Ensure back-out plans are in place as required by the client's Policies
  • Planning, evaluation, review, approval, communication, implementation, documentation and post-change review
  • Manages action items and creates follow-up plans for application related requests
  • Reviews/approves exceptions for handling changes impacting an application during a change freeze window
  • Works with Application Development teams to plan to minimize the need for expedited and/or emergency changes and to track informational changes (e.g., content updates and application configuration modifications)
  • Monitors the updates to the ITSM change management system with all progress for change requests regarding pre-deployment and post-deployment activities
  • Working with the Infrastructure teams, reviews the infrastructure related changes to minimize the risk of failed deployments
 
Required Skills:
  • Change management skills in Java,Cobol, Web Services
 
Preferred Experience:
  • ITIL Certification
