Postdoctoral Researcher for Liver Organoid Development

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, evaluate and develop new protocols for liver organoid development/ culture from human pluripotent stem cell lines
  • Engage with internal and external collaborators and customers as technical champion for liver organoids
  • Lead human stem cell culture and differentiation protocol
  • Leverage specialized knowledge and analytical skills to solve complex problems
  • Summarize and present experimental results in written and oral reports
  • Present the company at international conferences to promote the brand awareness
  • Performing assays, maintaining lab reagents 

Required Qualifications:
  • PhD in Life Sciences with liver cell culture/ organoid experience
  • Experience with 3D cell culture (preferably liver organoids)
  • Experience with creating and using stem cell-derived Organoids is must
  • Excellent experimental planning and data interpretation skills
  • Hands-on experience across a broad range of life science applications
  • Experience presenting to different levels of management
  • Highly organized; independent self-starter able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; adapt well to change and able to prioritize multiple projects
  • Innovative problem solver with creative thinking skills for overcoming difficult experimental challenges
  • Lab Based
  • 3D cell culture/ Liver cell culture / organoid culture
 

Preferred Skills:
  • Skills in the areas of cell biology and molecular biology are desired
  • Experience with creating and using liver organoid is preferred
  • Ability to work equally well on a multidisciplinary team or independently
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
