Position Overview:
  • The Private Equity business analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the development of applications.
  • As a successful Business Analyst, you'll leverage your detailed-oriented and analytical mindset to adopt, support and enhance, current applications used by our Private Equity team.
  • By taking an agile approach to your work, you'll drive efficiency, organization, and attention to detail while maximizing the applications and automation adoption.
  • Design, build and implement the most efficient processes based on the business requirements
  • Work with Client internal resources as well as application vendors to establish the appropriate development approach, budget, and timeline
  • Participates in or leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems, providing enhancements and recommendations as needed
  • Manage stakeholder expectations by effectively communicating the scope and timing of deliverables
  • Develop custom workflows, dashboards, reports on Deal pipeline and CRM platforms
  • Prepare and maintenance of standard project artifacts, including business requirements documents, test cases, and project plans
  • Maintain data integrity and best practices when identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements
  • Configure system settings and options, and execute unit/integration/acceptance testing
  • Test product-level functionality, manage release process, signoffs, audit requirements
  • Develop end-user training materials and deliver training as required
  • Identify and communicate areas for automation
  • Exceptional, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Adept at listening, soliciting feedback from end-users and stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a high-intensity faced paced environment, independently and in groups
  • Self-starter, detail & process-oriented
  • Strong ability to partner with an external vendor
  • Solid team player with an Intellectual curiosity to explore, to learn as an independent thinker
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of experience
  • Experience with DealCloud or other deal pipeline and CRM platforms is a plus
  • Requires a comprehensive knowledge of the business/industry to support the Private Equity team
  • Exposure to data governance, standardization, and metadata management
  • Experience with data engineering languages such as Python, SQL a plus
  • Independent solid business analysis skills
  • Front Office platforms a plus (DealCloud, Salesforce, iLevel, Bloomberg, Power BI)
  • Understanding of SDLC methodologies and approaches
