Position Overview:
  • Provides project and process management support to the Core HR & Payroll Service Line Lead, supporting activities to ensure that Payroll strategies, systems, processes and policies, are consistently utilized or applied.

  • Partners with Core HR Lead to develop and maintain the design for end to end employee life cycle processes, and ensures that the processes are operational efficient
  • Drive process improvement activities for global payroll processes.
  • Assess payroll process capability/technology gaps and use data to reveal options for improvement.
  • Develop and manage project plans for implementation of significant projects impacting payroll
  • Manage payroll test plans
  • Contributes to development of global processes and implementation of approved regional variations related to global payroll and time delivery
  • Manages updates to process documentation including employee portal, business process manuals, FAQs and other vitalize content.
  • Support management of global payroll vendor in partnership with capability center teams, and Vendor Management Lead
  • Support vendor issue resolution and resolve escalated issues from Capability Centers
  • Interface with payroll and time vendors, as needed, to ensure adherence to established procedures and SLAs
  • Support both internal and external audits of global payroll
  • Support payroll operations teams with advice and time when delivering local changes as a result of required projects.
  • Cascade global changes in a way that payroll teams can understand and implement (taking into consideration local legal requirements drive country alignment to global payroll strategy).
  • Providers to evaluate the effectiveness of the Payroll solutions and continuously improve solutions to ensure the desired impact is delivered.
  • Analyses feedback from Capability Center teams, Finance, HRBPs and Service
  • Drive improvements in service where metrics identify major/ongoing risks.

  • Desired Experience:
    • Payroll experience a must, with the ability to relate to concepts of Shadow Payroll for expat populations
    • Payroll implementation experience a plus
    • Experience of working in a HR shared services environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Effective leadership skills to enhance teamwork and promote collaboration
    • Experience working in a multi-country, virtual environment
    • Ability to influence, communicate and build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Strong track record in establishing and driving operational excellence
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage / prioritize multiple activities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Process design and improvement experience required; Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Experience working with payroll vendors and systems: ADP Payroll, Applic8, Workday experience
