Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of payment transactions/investigations (including performing all relevant controls) within own area of responsibility
  • Functions as an Operations Lead with minimum guidance and is accountable for the ensuring that the day-to-day activities are aligned to the business objectives
  • Ensure efficient team structure through effective resource management, focusing on ensuring correct sills for roles and optimum resourcing level for the team
  • Close collaboration with teams in India, Ireland and United States including sales and product
  • Appliance and strict adherence to all internal and external guidelines / policies and regulatory directives as well as SLAs, KRIs and / or KPIs and quality measurements
  • Uses knowledge and experience from your own area of responsibility to inform the design and implementation of strategies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency and performance of existing processes and reports
  • Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to operational problems
  • Ensures appropriate escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the COO and functional Leadership functions; contributes to the development and implementation of solutions to monitor and mitigate risk
  • Gathering, validating and objectively analyzing relevant information to identify key issues, drawing sound conclusions and making decisions on the appropriate course of action
  • Support for release management and test activities
  • MIS reporting and analysis of statistical data, inclusive search for new data source for evaluations and control of data

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have Wire/ High Value Payment (HVP), Automated Clearing House (ACH), funds release, or payment processing experience
  • Must be familiar with the new ISO20022 initiative to update messaging format for cross border and domestic payments
  • You will have previous relevant experience in global banking or payment operations
  • Previous relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas
  • Knowledge about Client system landscape is an advantage
  • You will have a high degree of accuracy, efficiency and delegation skills
  • You will have high attention to detail and organization skills
  • You will have strong communication skills
  • You will have a self-driven working style
  • You will have a best in class working style high quality consciousness
  • You will have excellent team worker skills and the ability to work in virtual global teams and a matrix organization
  • You will have the ability to work in fast paced environment, keep pace with technical innovation and maintain a broad understanding of the business offering
  • You will be open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
  • You will have expertise in Microsoft-Office tools (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • You will have previous experience across multiple product areas with respectable knowledge of cash management products (i.e. Funds Transfer, SWIFT, ACH, HVP, Check processing, Lockbox, Investment Sweeps)
  • Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Master's degree in Business Management/Finance/Banking/Economics or related disciplines is an advantage
