Position Overview:
  • This role is part of Anti Financial Crimes Modeling (AFCM) group, which is responsible for the definition, development, tuning, optimizing and support of models used for detecting Anti Money Laundering (AML) activity across the bank globally.

  • Create, manage and execute end to end detailed project plan
  • Work with all stakeholders (internal, external, local, global) to make sure tasks are delivered as expected (quality, timeline)
  • Perform requirement analysis, data analysis as per plan wherever required
  • Manage all external dependencies and make sure they are resolved as per plan
  • Proactively identify the risks and issues, and escalate with mitigation/contingency plan to relevant stakeholders. Make sure the risks/issues are resolved as per plan.
  • Report detailed project status on relevant forums key accomplishments, key upcoming activities, key risks/issues, dependencies, assumptions and constraints.
  • Making sure proper documentation is in place once a task is completed.
  • Drive weekly working group meetings with key team members to track progress on open tasks and drive to closure.
  • Work with central PMO team to provide status and documentation as needed for Regulatory / Management communication

Preferred Skills:
  • Demonstrated strong Project Management skills, especially related to remediation efforts of Regulatory findings
  • Demonstrated Strong problem analysis skill i.e. identify problem, analyze in detail, propose resolution plan and drive to closure
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skill to identify, document, present and solve issues with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to present to all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex situations, people and system needs against a backdrop of an ever changing regulatory environment

  • Business Analysis certification
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • AML experience in Financial institutions
  • CAMS certification
