This role will provide operational support and project management for our AMRS Futures Clearing & AMRS Contract Services business for both futures and equity options. AMRS Futures Operations provides support for the CME Group, ICE US, Montreal, OCC and several additional exchanges within the AMRS region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide BAU coverage for futures deliveries functions as needed
  • Assist with improving controls around the expiration/physical delivery processes across Exchange Traded Derivatives
  • Provide coverage for futures top day clearing functions during periods of high volumes
  • Assist with regulatory reporting reviews/inquires as needed
  • Develop and maintain metrics/KRI management and reporting
  • Document findings/impact as required for project and BAU change management, and provide to appropriate program management teams
  • Contribute to, and in some cases author, BRDs related to project
  • Where system testing is required, develop and/or approve scripts, and monitor, review, approve/reject results
  • Assist with various initiatives impacting regional or global functions

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years experience in futures operations (futures & options clearing and contract servicing) and equity options
  • Knowledge of industry rules and regulations, and as well as business practices is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail oriented and effective time management skills
  • High level of intellectual curiosity, critical and quantitative thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast pace, high volume environment and continuously multi-task
  • Proven success driving projects and strategic initiatives
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to assess risk, implement controls and streamline existing processes
  • Ability to problem solve, outline and propose tactical and strategic solutions
  • Previous experience dealing with auditors/regulators and the ability to identify and drive remediation of audit/regulatory changes/findings
  • Ability to think strategically and lead execution of process improvement and harmonization initiatives
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
