The Operations Data Input Analyst will be part of a team that manages receipt and loading of data for the Client's 1,200 retailer partners and will play a key role in ensuring incoming POS data is accurate and on schedule. The ideal candidate will be required to oversee the monitoring and processing of raw data from retailers per established protocol, as well as for standardizing / documenting procedures and identifying future improvement opportunities. The role requires close coordination both within the Data Input team as well as with contacts across other internal departments, including other Global Operations teams and IT.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Executing and supporting retailer receipt and loading per the standard production schedule
  • Triaging and escalating issues as required to keep production processing on track
  • Responding to internal and external data inquires in a timely and professional manner
  • Constantly reviewing current processes for automation and timing improvement opportunities
  • Assisting with development on basic changes related to data feed updates and projects affecting production, on an as needed basis
  • Working with other groups to assist in the retrieval of non POS data
  • Helping with the development and maintenance of training materials and process documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA/BS degree
  • 1-3 years of experience with data processing, ideally for retailer data
  • Knowledge of Linux, Syncsort DMX, a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Other desired skills: data collection, configuration and analysis methodologies / tools such as EDI, 852, Ab Initio, SAS, SQL
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detail oriented, strong commitment to timely execution of tasks
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and /or projects simultaneously in a highly collaborative environment with minimal supervision
  • Embraces teamwork and possesses ability to effectively work cross functionally
  • Adept at flexing and adapting to changing business
