Eclaro International is currently recruiting for Onboarding Specialist for F&O OTC for one of our financial services clients.

Job Description:


Follows established written procedures and guidelines, provides technical and analytical support in a global markets operations support function for one or more operations product areas. Uses established techniques to analyze and resolve complex operations support problems/initiatives requiring exception handling and/or coordination of multiple operational and/or product/services specialists to resolve. May assist in managing projects and/or introduction of new initiatives, systems, products and services and processes coordination across multiple operations functions. Employees will have college degree (Associates or higher) or comparable work experience. Required skills include: expert Excel knowledge, detail orientation, ability to manage multiple priorities and multi task, excellent time management and prioritization skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines, ability and willingness to continuously learn on the job, ability to problem-solve and take ownership of process improvements, ability to work in a team environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with various stakeholders. Desired skills include: Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar major preferred and a basic understanding of and/or experience in financial service industry. Role Specific Description:

The Futures & Options (F&O) and OTC Clearing Operations Onboarding team is seeking an Ops Specialist at the Band 5 level. The F&O Onboarding team is responsible for coordination of the client documentation and working with clients, Front Office, Legal, Credit, Compliance, KYC/AML and Integration to onboard new funds for F&O and OTC Clearing. Responsibilities include the coverage of firm high profile clients, including large asset managers. The coverage of client relationships will include full coordination of collecting client documentation and other requirements, facilitating KYC review and approval, reviewing documents for capacity and authority language, managing relevant regulatory requests and data, analyzing complex account structures, coordinating all internal sign-offs and ensuring clients, management and key stakeholders are aware of progress.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review complex client account structures (corporations, trusts, hedge funds, partnerships, pension funds, mutual funds)
• Review capacity and authority language for Futures and OTC Clearing within client documentation
• Coordinate calls with large institutional clients to collect documentation and other requirements needed for onboarding new funds in a timely fashion
• Prepare static data to be sent to RDS to open accounts
• Navigate internal organization to gather approvals on new funds from Credit, Legal, and Compliance
• Articulate, escalate and highlight delays in client onboarding process to Front Office
• Review of existing procedures to ensure proper documentation and controls are in place
• Create new procedures and roll out processes for new products
• Participate in projects and cleanup of historical key static data elements that drive Regulatory and Compliance reporting
• Propose change to improve processes within the team

Required Skills:

• College Degree
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• The role will demand that the candidate is a strong communicator and leader, as the function demands frequent interaction with business partners as well as clients
• Must be well versed in client execution and clearing, for both futures and derivatives products on global markets
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be an effective multi-taker
• Must be organized, detailed oriented and have the ability to manage time effectively to meet client needs within appropriate time frames
• The role will require the candidate to take and pass their Series 3 Exam within 3 months of hire date
• Act without immediate supervision and have the ability to take ownership of tasks/processes
• Evaluate the risk elements of such a client facing role and a role in a regulated industry and ensure tasks are carried out in a controlled fashion
• Experience with GMI, as well as other systems associated with cleared Futures and Derivatives
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of industry rules and regulations, as well as common street wide business practices
• Project management experience
• Experience working in a global environment with outsourced partners
