Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical services to employees within their regulated scope of practice and disability/absentee leave management
  • Provide occupational and non-occupational injury response, evaluation and treatment care
  • Coordinate clinical operations, including medical surveillance, OSHA recordkeeping, facility operations and patient care activities such as episodic or emergency visits, first aid, and other activities as needed.
  • Provides preventive medicine and wellness services/counseling; supports site health promotion and disease prevention programs
  • Documents patient data in electronic medical database(s), as per standard protocols
  • Manage Medical Leaves (STD, FMLA, ADA) by tracking claims and communicate case status to employees, supervisors/mangers, hrSource, Human Resources and healthcare providers
  • Coordinate work site evaluations, job descriptions/demands and RTW restrictions.
  • Manage remote site activities
  • This is an approximation depending on the schedule and flow for the day:
    • Clinic/patient care
    • Disability case management
    • Administrative/front desk
 
Qualifications:
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Federal, state, or local public health regulations
  • Workers’ Compensation
  • OSHA , including recordkeeping
  • OSHA Blood-borne pathogen/Universal precautions
  • Americans with Disability Act (ADA)
  • Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
  • Sedentary work
  • Blood Borne Pathogen
  • Must have NY NP license
