Eclaro International is currently recruiting for Middle Office Securities Operations Risk and Governance role for one of our financial services clients in New York City. Regional management of post execution support, risk and control function for Securities product (including Bonds/Repos/Equities) with a goal of achieving best in class client service, robust and scalable controls, globally standardized processes and cost efficiency. Reporting to the Regional Head of Financial Markets Middle Office.

|Key Roles and Responsibilities|
|§ Support/Drive delivery of key strategic infrastructure initiatives, providing requirements, participation in UAT and transitioning of BAU functions|
§ Governance and oversight of BAU functions in offshore locations
§ Adherence to Ops Risk Framework standards of implementation and process management
§ Working with Partners in Operational Risk continue to develop and strengthen the controls across Countries and Hubs and demonstrate oversight and governance
§ Provide subject matter expertise, representation of Operations to the business and clients
§ New Business/Product enablement including operating procedures drafting and approval
§ Achieve regulatory compliance through a strong understanding of current rules and anticipation of upcoming regulations
§ Active industry participation and steer with global view
§ Representation for external/internal and regulator audits
§ Provide trade and overall support to the Global US and Securities businesses.
§ To assist the Front Office in resolution of issues stemming from booking and trade flows.
§ Setting up new entities for UST Clearing , on-boarding clients into FICC
§ Review and rationalize clearing and custody fees
§ Develop and implement the Securities product strategy ensuring value add and global alignment
§ Phased delivery of Sales/Trading support capabilities and focus on continuous improvements
§ Enhanced client experience through improved turnaround times, effective communication and quality assurance
§ Commercial focus and manage vendor capabilities and closely monitor industry developments and utility offerings
§ Maximize use of industry wide facilities targeting standardization and STP (eg FICC , LCH, CTM,)
§ Stakeholder management ensuring strong communication, transparency and prioritization
|Qualifications and Skills required|
|§ Candidate must have minimum 10+ years of Securities product experience and middle office experience |
§ Domain expertise across Securities products including Bonds, Repos, Collateral Management
§ Strong global securities market knowledge [US (DTC/FED), Clearstream/Euroclear and Domestic markets in Asia/Africa ]
§ Strong track record for delivering process efficiency and scalability
