Eclaro International is currently recruiting for Exchange Operations Manager for one of our financial services clients.

Job Description:

Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include OS technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Assists in establishment of input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and coordination of subsystems design and integration of total system. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 5 or more years of systems engineering experience.
Exchange Operations Manager – Responsible for global 3rd level Exchange operations team and all associated support. Including all aspects of Exchange Operations and risk mitigation, as well as being the SME for Exchange and Exchange related technologies. Investigate complex problem situations to diagnose underlying cause and determine root cause for all major issues. The role demands high technical troubleshooting skills and providing resolution to an assortment of problems of complex scope related to Exchange activities. Work closely with engineering to implement changes, as well as close daily contact with L2 Exchange Support. Management of the 3rd level team will also be required.
Required skills:
Experience as a manager of a technical team in a large and demanding enterprise environment
· 5+ years Microsoft Exchange 2010 (or later) experience in large enterprise environments
· 5+ years knowledge of email protocols, client access technologies, email routing, mailbox database technologies, email backup and storage technologies
· Knowledge and experience with PowerShell scripting
· Ability to lead and influence across Workspace Services and other Level 2 and 3 groups
· Superior incident facilitation skills under challenging circumstances with focus on rapid resolution
· Proven strong leader with excellent oral and written communication skills
· Excellent judgment and decision making
· Flexible, adaptable and able to respond to fluid situations that may require special handling
· Solid understanding of server and networking technologies, and security
Desired Skills:
1+ years enterprise Server and Storage infrastructure
· Understanding of EWS, DNS, networking, and data center technologies
· Understanding of Active Directory, Office, BlackBerry, Routing, Outlook and email client technologies
