Join the Eclaro Team! Eclaro is looking for a Mechanical/Hardware Engineer for our client in Corvallis, OR. This is a contract position located at our client's site.

  • Work with Client PageWide Web Press engineers to populate, organize and manage service BOMs to enable rapid identification of replacement parts
  • Analyze service cases and capture learnings to enable continuous improvement
  • Use of Windchill, Client's product data management (PDM) system, will be a core aspect of the position
  • Use Windchill Service Information Manager to structure service BOM's and organize information for publishing to service parts catalog
  • Capture images from existing 3D CAD assemblies to facilitate visual navigation of service parts catalog
  • Map press-specific service BOM's to customers' configurations
  • Review service cases, populate them with descriptive metadata and capture relevant troubleshooting information
  • Query and analyze service cases to look for trends
Required Qualifications:
  • AA/AS Degree in Business or Technical area or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • May include highly experienced individuals performing equivalent work who are non-degreed or degreed in an unrelated field or equivalent vocational or military training
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Experience working with CAD, BOMs and other design documentation
  • Experience with Creo Elements Direct, Solidworks or other 3D CAD software
  • Ability to learn and work in new CAD software as needed
  • Experience working in a fast-paced R&D environment with continuous changes
  • Computer skills in basic programs (MS Office, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to communicate to various levels of engineering and management
  • Creative problem-solving skills
