Position Overview:
  • Biologics Development Business Operations department supports both strategic and operational objectives for Biologics Development with support of capital and asset management, lab operations, project management, resource management, outsourcing, operational excellence and learning and compliance.
  • Reporting to the Manager of Business Operations, this individual will be responsible for supporting the Biologics Development site-specific capital, asset management and lab operations.
  • Serve as NBR B48 and B48A asset management lead responsible for biologics development capital equipment planning, engineering, install, delivery and lifecycle management
  • Serve as project manager for facility readiness, upgrades and other ad hoc projects for biologics development NBR labs
  • Manages JLL lab services for NBR biologics development labs
  • Manage the Unity asset coverage report, maintenance activity report and smart capture data for biologics development NBR assets
  • Act as subject matter expert for the Unity asset manager application and point of escalation for all assets within the ULS program within NBR labs
  • Manage 3rd party tier 1 equipment calibration and maintenance programs including development of workflows to address current whitespace opportunities.
  • Manage alarm points and associated contacts for relevant biologics development NBR assets
  • Serve as project manager for facility readiness, upgrades and other ad hoc projects for biologics development NBR labs
  • Partners with operational excellence teams as a point of contact for workflows residing in NBR labs
  • Individual will interface with various levels of Biologics Development leadership, Operational Excellence, Facilities & Engineering, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Strategic Product Development Business Operations and Finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or relevant scientific discipline with > 3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence, negotiate, and drive organizational engagement.
  • Capable of bringing structure to vaguely defined problems while using creative yet pragmatic problem-solving approaches and execution management
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and executive-level messaging skills
  • Strong ability to ensure connectivity across multiple functions across sites and with the enterprise
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
