Loan and Agency Specialist

  • Strategy:
    • Manage portfolio of loan transactions from deal closing through to maturity; loan settlement and ongoing administration of syndicated loans
  • Business:
    • The client Operations team deliver professional Agency functions for Syndicated Loans.
    • Performing daily activities including but not limited to utilizations, repricing, fee settlement, third party assignments, monitoring and reconciliation of incoming and outgoing cashflows, Amendments / Waivers, Covenant and compliance distribution
  • Processes:
    • Act as the point of contact for Lenders and Borrowers
    • Processing drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixing, transfers, interest and principal payments for a varied portfolio of deals included leverage finance, real estate, club deals and others.
    • Liaise with Relationship Managers in the review and negotiation of draft loan documentation from an operational perspective where the company is named as Facility Agent and Security Agent
    • Manage the funding process for new transactions, ensure system set-up and new deal checks are completed
    • Manage the workflow for secondary market transfers, including signing transfer certificates, collecting transfer fees, updating loan systems
    • Prepare deal summary document for each transaction highlighting deal specific nuances
    • Partner with Front Office, Internal and external Legal teams, KYC on boarding and Finance
  • People and Talent:

    • Proactively partner with Risk and Control teams to identify, mitigate and resolve risks

  • Regulatory & Business Conduct:

    • Support the Americas Loans and Agency team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles
    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
    • Key Stakeholders: Syndications team, Relationship Managers, Borrowers and Lenders, Finance & Operational Risk
  • Minimum 5 years experience prior loan operations experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
