Responsibilities:
  • Provide level 1 desktop support to US based employee.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop infrastructure including:
    • Dell and Lenovo laptops running Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
    • Desktop peripherals (wired and wireless devices)
    • Printers, scanners, mobile devices
  • Install and troubleshoot operating systems, application software, and system management tools such:
    • Office 365
    • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
    • Virtual Private Network
    • Microsoft SCCM
  • Provide personalized superior support to all users, including VIP executives
  • Demonstrate technical competency and professionalism under all conditions
  • Deliver mission critical infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security
  • Anticipate potential issues and proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Problem solve and identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
  • Liaise with internal level 2 and 3 staff, vendors, and other IT personnel for problem resolution
 
Qualifications:
  • Entry level technology individual.
  • Entry level experience using typical office applications and third-party software including but not limited to:
    • MS Office suite (i.e. O365, 2013, 2016, 2019)
    • Adobe application suite (both locally installed, and subscription based)
    • Zoom
    • iOS
  • Entry level experience working with:
    • PC laptops, desktops, and peripherals
    • Printers and scanners
    • Apple products (ex. MACs, iPads, and iPhones)
  • Installing and configuring third party applications
  • Possible travel to offsite locations to provide desktop support as needed
  • Experience creating user "how to documentation
  • Experience working in a variety of organizational types (i.e. financial services, retail, non-profit, etc.) is a plus, not required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • College degree or technical certification.
