Responsibilities:
  • Safety:
    • Wear appropriate PPE
    • Inform supervisor of potential safety hazards
    • Properly dispose of waste and hazardous materials
    • Follow all safety guidelines documented in associated SAP
    • Be alert and prepared for duties
  • Quality:
    • Accurately follow SOP's
    • Perform daily accuracy checks on robotics to ensure quality production
    • Inspect products for quality and adherence to customer specifications
  • Productivity:
    • Continuous flow of production runs
    • Prioritize and plan work to meet customer due date requirements
    • Manage tasks in an efficient manner
    • Maintain inventory of job materials
  • Communication and Documentation:
    • Inform supervisor and document all instrument/analytical issues
    • Update order status daily
    • Perform quality assurance tracking records
    • Inform oncoming technicians of runs status and priorities
  • Problem Solving:
    • Recognize issues that will affect quality and throughput
    • Troubleshoot problems with equipment or products
  • Adaptability:
    • Learn and apply new skills within expected time periods
    • Adapt quickly to changes in processes and protocols
    • Accept feedback concerning work performance
  • Teamwork:
    • Assist and support co-workers
    • Maintain a positive and pleasant manner
    • Resolve conflicts within a timely manner
    • Exhibit tact and consideration to all employees
  • Process Improvement:
    • Submit ideas for cost and resource efficiency improvements
    • Participate in improvement initiatives and provide detailed feedback on the testing of new processes
 
Required Experience:
  • High School and Diploma or GED with 3-5 years laboratory experience
 
Preferred Experience:
  • 2-year or 4-year degree with 6 months of laboratory experience
 
Required Skills:
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office)
  • Problem-solving abilities
