Position Overview: The candidate will be a developer joining the Order and Execution Management Systems team within Front office Equities IT Technology. Team builds Order and Execution Management applications that are used by number of trading desks (Program Trading, Delta 1, ETF, Cash, Low touch Electronic) in front office equities space. He or she will be working on the OMS application platforms that support both High Touch as well as Low Touch DSA flows. Candidate will also be involved in migrating of our business from legacy trading platforms to the new OMS platform. Equities Order and Execution Management team has its own proprietary framework for building trading applications in Java on server side and C# on the client side. The person will be involved in developing, enhancing and maintaining scalable, resilient, reliable Order and Execution management system in Front office Equities Trading Technology. Role involves interacting with Business Analysts, Product owners, QA, Trading desks and other technology teams in equity front office space. Third level support of deployed applications

  • Designing and developing of applications in Core Java or C++
  • Familiarity with using infrastructure frameworks to build applications in Core Java or C++ using middleware like AMPS, Tibco EMS, Oracle
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented with a high degree of accountability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Skills:
  • End-to-end Software Development Life Cycle experience from inception to delivery as the key responsible developer
  • Ability to manage independently in a dynamic environment within agile environment
  • Knowledge of FIX Protocol
