Position Overview;
  • Designs, develops, and operates applications and processes that support the firm's Identity and Access Management initiatives supporting workforce and external parties.
  • Will be a part of the Cybersecurity organization and will work closely with the Technology and Business teams on the development and execution of Identity and Access Management vision and strategy.
 
Responsibilities:
  • The Identity and Access (IAM) Engineer will ensure the operational effectiveness of existing IAM services and solutions, as well as rolling out additional capabilities that further the firm's IAM efforts.
  • Along with operations, the engineer will be involved with the strategy, design, plan, and execution of new initiatives and improvements to existing solutions and processes. This is a hands on role for someone with strong technical skills who wants to take ownership of IAM processes and improve them.
  • Ensure a sound operating environment for the firm's Single Sign-On solutions. This includes responding to end user issues, monitoring and responding to system alerts and warnings, and identifying and executing operational improvements
  • Control and monitor the identity life-cycle process for the firm's workforce
  • Making sure that identity life-cycle automation is performing as expected and handle exception processes to align people, identities and accounts
  • Implement automated entitlement review processes build out the firm's entitlement review processes and ensure their on-going execution.
  • Develop and document IAM policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
  • Educate end users on the use of IAM related tools and processes
  • Participate in other information security projects and operational duties
  • Provide subject matter expertise on IAM topics and perform other duties as necessary
 

Required Qualifications:
  • To be an effective IAM Engineer, need to have a broad range of technical knowledge, but more importantly, need to be driven and operationally focused.
  • Able to work independently, identifying opportunities and executing on them, while at the same time being transparent and working with the team.
  • Deep experience with Identity and Access Management concepts such as authentication, authorization, multi-factor authentication, and federation
  • Experienced with Identity as a Service solutions such as Okta, Microsoft, One Login, and Ping
  • Strong understanding of federation technologies such as SAML, WS-FED, OAuth and OpenID Connect
  • Understanding of identity lifecycle management
  • Experienced with Identity and Access Governance solutions such as Saviynt, SailPoint, and Oracle Identity Manager
  • Experience with SQL, database design, and scripting
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 5 or more years of experience in IAM or other Cybersecurity related fields
  • Results oriented and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
