Job Overview:

Seeking a candidate with excellent administrative and analytical abilities who will work in the Human Resources Department, but also provide support to Senior Executives and other operational / accounting departments as needed. This individual must have excellent communication skills, be able to process information quickly and accurately, and have the ability to learn new concepts easily. Microsoft Office and proprietary database programs are used extensively.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide administrative support within the Human Resource Department, including benefits, immigration, payroll and HR systems.

• Data entry of tax withholding information

• Gather data to fulfill sample requests from auditors

• Vendor payment instructions and reconciliations for Corporate Accounting

• Executive Admin and reception (back-up)

o Answer, screen and direct phone calls and take detailed messages

o Welcome and screen visitors

o Manage executive schedules and logistics

o Support guest office activities / visitors

o Facilitate video and audio conference calls

• Investor document coordination for Investor Relations Department (back-up)

• Fund Accounting and Operations support, including tagging dividend accrual breaks with counterparties (back-up)

• Various admin duties, including: Scanning documents, sorting and distributing mail as necessary and typing, editing and proofreading documents and correspondence for the NY Facilities Dept. (back-up)


• Bachelor's Degree

• Positive team player – literally a "utility infielder” willing to learn multiple roles

• Must be polite, outgoing, motivated, coachable and enthusiastic

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• A solid understanding of professional office etiquette

• Must be flexible with capacity to manage competing demands and deliverables

• Must have a strong working knowledge in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint

• Familiarity with accounting/finance is a plus

• Securities industry experience a plus

• Ability to work overtime, as required
