Eclaro is looking for a Help Desk for an opportunity for our client in BENTONVILLE, AR.
Position Overview:
  • Address initial Level 1 hardware and operating system calls for AIX, Linux, Windows, Storage, TSM, Networking, Voice, and server and desktop/laptop/printer and periphials
  • Perform problem determination and resolution procedures with the customer
  • Pass unresolved issues to IBM Level 2 support as necessary
  • Dispatch hardware to on-site techs as necessary
  • Update customers on status of problems
Required Skill:
  • Bilingual (Spanish) (Will be tested for translation skills as well as technical) Good communication skills in Spanish
  • Has been a Spanish Translator.
  • Identify all the major components for a computer (PC or Server)
  • Understand the basis of computer networking on at least the physical layer.
  • Know how to open a command line on a Windows System, and run commands from that line.
  • Have competent telephone skills, oral and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate tact and sensitivity in customer communication, while projecting a positive, professional image.
  • Validate customer information Store #, Who the contact is, what team they are from, what system has a problem, and what the issue is
  • Have good documentation skills (be able to clearly document and log work that has been done)
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to balance technical support.
  • Have technical experience and skills in the areas of problem determination and analysis, competent level of analytical ability is required to Understand the basic interrelationships of the products with each other and with the network as a whole, good working knowledge of complex and multi-vender environments
  • Must be a team player and work well with in-country and global teams in the "One Team" concept.

Preferred Skills:
  • Working knowledge of Remedy tool
  • Previous help desk experience
