Funds Transfer Lead Business Analyst

Position Overview: The Senior Business Analyst will be part of a development team implementing profitability solution using OFSAA for the Clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Strong Business Analysis with good understanding of the Funds Transfer Pricing methods for Assets & Liabilities.
  • Liaise with business users to understand FTP and profitability requirements and help implement requirements in OFSAA Profitability solution.
  • Assist in preparation of test scripts to support Unit Testing and System Integration Testing.
  • Help troubleshoot data issues and system defects and work with business partners to address User Acceptance Testing.
  • Lead the testing efforts and ensure all issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Analyze data related issues and identify root cause of issues / defects.
  • Testing in support of projects and creation of project artifacts as required by project life cycle.
  • Support projects per EPLC procedure – Perform analysis based on business requirement, design, develop, test and implement changes to Oracle Application and related interfaces.
  • Work with business users to address functional issues.
  • Assist in configuration of FTP methodologies like Cash Flow Duration, Straight Term method, Moving Average, profitability rules in OFSAA, etc.
  • Provide and support the implementation by identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results and assist business with the testing strategy.
  • Perform data gap analysis and clearly document gaps.
  • Good understanding of Dimensional data structures and concepts of hierarchies and usage in Profitability calculations is a plus.
  • Work with FP&A and end user areas to understand requirements for profitability reporting and prepare functional design documents with project templates including process flows, test plans, business requirements documents and design documents.
  • Testing in support of projects and creation of project artifacts as required by project life cycle.
  • Support projects per EPLC procedure – Perform analysis based on business requirement, design, develop, test and implement changes to Oracle Application and related interfaces.
  • Document all changes per ISA standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Resquired Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst in the implementation of profitability, fund transfer pricing and GL reconciliation solutions for large banks.

Preferred Skills:
  • Good understanding of Assets and Liability products and associated characteristics.
  • Good expertise in configuring Transfer pricing rules in OFSAA FTP module.
  • Working knowledge of writing SQL queries and troubleshoot data related issues.
  • Working knowledge of profitability reporting using BI tools like Oracle OBIEE, Hyperion Essbase would be a big plus.
  • Flexible in managing competing priorities and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently as needed.
  • Strong team player with a 'can-do' attitude.
