Position Overview:
  • Responsible for managing and executing on the budget administration for the department to support business operations for the overall Cybersecurity team
  • Responsibilities include procurement, IT Risk project reporting, IT Risk budget planning and forecasting, and invoicing workflow
  • Will be the primary liaison to the IT Risk Department's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the division's Budget Coordinator on this information
  • Accountable for translating the data into actionable recommendations to support effective business decision making by Senior Management
  • Compile and analyzes financial data for an organization
  • Create detailed reporting for revenue and expense or budgets
  • Analyze financial data for the purpose of creating projections and spend analysis
  • Should have excellent reporting and analytics skills and may be expected to build presentations as well as communicate effectively in writing or directly to management
  • Other responsibilities may be reconciliation of budgets versus actuals as well as forecasting on expenses and/or revenue
  • Manage, maintain, and execute departmental budget reporting and analysis requirements on a monthly/quarterly basis for Senior Management
  • Maintain up-to-date information on shifting project priorities to help inform business decisions on budget funding/allocation for the department
  • Drive and execute annual budget forecasting/planning cycle for the department to ensure appropriate funding is procured
  • Manage and execute ad-hoc data requests for departmental programs from business partners
  • Support departmental project status reports for senior management
  • Oversee administration procurement and resource acquisition workflow to ensure departmental requests are moving forward to meet deadlines
Required Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Understanding of accounting/finance concepts with a strong aptitude for financial analysis & reporting
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, primarily Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn related programs
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills; can convey complex messages to various audiences to influence and drive business decisions
  • Well-organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with business partners
