Position Overview:
  • This person will be working with highly sensitive information and complex processes, and will also work together with senior leadership towards defining more robust guidelines around these matters.
  • Further, there are logical future expansion opportunities for this team to manage other operational components of the total employee experience, such as matters related to stock grants and build-out of an all-encompassing employee portal.
  • This is a highly visible role with collaboration across multiple teams, as well as exposure to some of the most senior members of client.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage the newly created EIS team as a senior member of the team
  • Day-to-day management of the team's deliverables:
    • Maintain golden source of the highly sensitive Carry and Employee Investments data
    • Execute Carry Award Letter process
    • Employee Co-investment opportunity offering management & communication
    • Employee onboarding and lifecycle changes e.g. Terminations, Transfers
    • Employee Investment/Carry inquiries
    • Employee onboarding via e-Subdocs/e-Awards; Reporting and delivery via Investor Portal
    • Data management across systems.
  • Work with senior client leaders to evolve Carry and Co-Investment program guidelines
  • Develop/update policies & procedures for the team
  • Develop controls, KPIs, dashboards, exception reports for oversight & management of function
  • Continuously assess processes and procedures to define & document enhancement requirements and reporting needs
  • Support risk management process for Investor Services as a part of larger client Framework
  • Liaise with Marketing, Human Capital, Finance, Legal, etc. to align end-to-end processes
  • Drive technological improvements, work closely with tech team, actively participate in UAT
  • Work closely with the wider investor services team: share best practices, provide mutual support
 
Qualifications: (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, controls, process improvements, defining policies & procedures
  • Experience in Investor Services a plus
  • Experience in people management and talent development
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Experience working with technology team for requirement gathering, UAT and implementation
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM system, and/or eFront's Investment Cafe a plus
  • Basic understanding of Private Equity & Alternative Investments a plus
  • Embraces a culture centered on teamwork and is flexible with job responsibilities
  • Excel in a rigorous and fast-paced work environment
