Position Overview:

  • Support the VP, the Lead Ethics Officer/Ethics Liaison and Senior Compliance Officer.
  • Will assist in further developing internal controls policies, procedures and maintenance.
  • Will be embedded in the organization and will be an important member of the team providing backup to team members and tasked with developing processes that efficiently categorize, monitor and respond to issues arising in the Office of Ethics & Compliance.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining the JCOPE Financial Disclosure database and facilitate required training events.
  • Assist in data entry backlog for case management system.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the Compliance Reporting and Training repositories.
  • Responsible for re-design of the E&C Office webpage-announcements, daily/weekly/monthly notices.
  • Assist in developing/deploying a communications plan utilizing multiple media methods (social media, targeted messaging).
  • Assists in identifying program/process failures and in developing/deploying remediation strategies.
  • Regularly pitch new ideas to the department which enhance program(s) effectiveness and further program(s) evolution.
  • Support department staff to help deliver on strategic initiatives surrounding ethics and compliance policies.
  • Monitor the daily workflow of project(s) status; triaging bottlenecks, tracking milestones and maintaining records.
  • Assist in handling both ethics and compliance related investigations; resolution of identified issues and tracking of resultant recommendations
  • Assists in training development as needed or to a targeted group.

 
Skills:

  • Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Office 365 Key services, SAP knowledge
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Analytical writing skills
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization up to and including senior management
