Position Overview:
  • EMD Performance Materials is a business of Client Darmstadt, Germany, a best-in-class electronic materials company providing high-purity chemicals and gases, delivery systems, services, and materials expertise to meet the evolving needs of the global semiconductor, display and LED markets.

  • As a PCB Electrical Engineer for our specialty gas and liquid delivery equipment, you are an integral part of the success of our Delivery Systems and Services business. The business demands that you prioritize safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Drive the execution of new semiconductor equipment offerings that are distributed globally by interacting with quality, operations, engineering, sales, site services, and sourcing teams internally.
  • Instrumental in translating customer needs into a valued offering we can provide.
  • Create the engineering solutions to the problems facing the advancement of the electronics industry.
  • An enthusiastic learner, who wants to solve complex problems in a thriving organization.
  • Printed Circuit Board failure analysis Report writing

  • AS or BS Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical role
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a proven track record
  • Electrical Engineering degree preferred
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, meters, bench supplies, and other lab equipment
  • Experience collaborating with diverse, global teams to meet business and customer needs

Preferred Skills:
  • Demonstrable aptitude for board level electronics and circuit analysis
  • Proven success in applying problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand technical details of products to troubleshoot and drive improvements
  • Envisioning solutions to meet the industry needs of tomorrow
  • Ability to debug digital, analog, and DC-power circuits
  • Basic knowledge of surface-mount and thru-hole soldering.
  • Critical attention to detail and investigation skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to drive change successfully
  • Logical and creative thinker
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Semiconductor/microelectronics or related experience is a plus
