Position Overview:
  • This individual will lead the Customer Digital Experience scrum team responsible for the design and development of the online customer portal and its associated products and features.
  • The product owner is responsible for ensuring optimal user experience for both external and internal users.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Take lead of scrum teams and participate in agile ceremonies
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Working with CDEx manager, define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
  • Follow our competitors and the industry
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document existing processes
  • Actively engage with customer-facing employees to understand customer needs and facilitate usability testing
  • Plan user feedback solicitation with Voice of Customer liaison
  • Use Google Analytics reporting to identify opportunities to enhance user experience
  • Guide product design and development to be optimized for user experience
 
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years experience leading digital design and development
  • Be able to work with various personality types
  • Be extremely collaborative
  • Have the ability to take ownership and work without close supervision
  • Have experience as a digital product owner or similar
  • Are passionate about customer experience
  • Being proactive
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Detail oriented
 
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with usability testing/user research
