  • Perform various tasks including identifying database requirements, maintaining application databases, performing modifications to databases, developing database queries and procedures, enforcing database security and maintaining data backup/recovery procedures.
  • Will also be involved with database performance monitoring and tuning, and managing highly-available production database instances for corporate systems.
  • These databases are critical to the efficient operation of the systems used by various business entities throughout the company.
Required Qualifications:
  • Requires a valid driver's license.
  • Must also be willing and able to travel within the service territory as required to attend meetings and provide support as necessary.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in DB2 database administration including DB2 V11 or later, standard DB2 utilities, SPUFI, Stored Procedures, JCL, TSO/ISPF, QMF and DB2 Database Administration Tools.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with application development, Windows, Office, ACF2 or RACF, Systems Managed Storage, DASD Storage, BizTalk, IMS, DB2 monitoring tools, Cobol, VSAM, CICS, Clists and Rexx
