Use your skills where innovative technology solutions begin. Eclaro is looking for a Data Modeler/Architect for our client in Atlanta, GA.  This is a remote position with travel involved.

  • Must have 8+ yrs. experience in data modelling and architecture skill set with traditional ETL (preferably SSIS/SSAS), Java and new edge technologies like Hadoop/Hive/Spark/Python/Scala
  • Candidate should have good cloud experience in Azure landscape Azure Data factory, ADLS V2.0, Databrick
  • Very good experience in managing data models and stores
  • Working use of visual notations for expressing data logical and physical models, state transitions, transformation and versioning. Ideally also data flows and business processes. Including UML, DPMN, ERDs, etc.
  • Working knowledge of database design patterns, SQL, XML and JSON standards, data and data type transformations.
  • Experience working with data warehouse systems and enterprise data flow management systems for Hadoop, like Facebook\Apache Hive (incl. HiveQL) and Apache NiFi/NSA's Niagara Files
  • Ability to analyse complex situations and to derive workable actions

Preferred Skills:
  • Business analysis and intelligence experience, with familiarity of modern, commercial Business processes including: supply chain commercial data exchange, internal and external reporting requirements (operational, management, financial, tax and supervisory), financial auditing processes, etc.
  • Ability to constructively challenge requirements and current state to increase overall value to the firm
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives and to lead virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams
  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
  • Excellent organization, written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of b2b commercial supply chain
  • Technical facilitating and training experience
