Position Overview:

  • Support client by integrating various data sources to client proprietary application. It requires a Data Analyst because the data is available in disparate systems like SAP, CRM, Primavera, Excel Sheet etc. and has to analyze and provide data insights and solve complex business problems which is required for this application.
  • The details of the different data analysis that will be enabled over the duration of the project are outlined below.
    • Datasets information:
      • CRM Data - Customers data
      • Primavera - Projects data
      • SAP - Billing Data
      • MPP Customers data
    • Research inquiries, validate data patterns and solve complex business problems using SQL and MS Excel
    • Track data issues and satisfy ad hoc analysis requests in a timely fashion
    • Provide quality assurance of data and if necessary, work with Quality Assurance analyst and communicate directly with Business and Data integration/ETL team
    • Process, aggregate and merge historical data sets from varying sources into a single unified dataset
    • Identify relevant data attributes from internal data sources and document inputs, outputs and associated source-to-target data mapping

 
Responsibilities:

  • Collect and document detailed data requirements and the data flows
  • Identify relevant data attributes from internal data sources and document inputs, outputs and associated source-to-target data mapping
  • Document key processes and workflows around data acquisition, integration, cleansing and monitoring
  • Investigate and validate data from different sources, checking for completeness & accuracy as well as analyzing patterns & trends in data
  • Identify data issues and assist in manual/automated data remediation efforts
  • Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary

 
Required Experience:

  • Experience in analyzing data from various sources and formats, and applying data insights to cleanse and transform data into a standardized format
  • Must have a working knowledge of SQL, writing SQL queries and proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience in identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns relating to key performance indicators in complex data sets
  • Experience in creating and maintain technical documentation for various systems, services and business processes
  • Experience in assessing data quality on various data sources and coordinates with
  • Business & IT in the correction of source data or creation of translation sources, where applicable
  • Experience in authenticating and interpreting data based on results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining

 
Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and a member of a multi-function team
  • Knowledge on CRM (Customer relationship management)
  • Nice to have knowledge on Tableau
