Responsibilities:
  • Handle high volume of external inbound customer and sales agent inquiries
  • Communicates product features and benefits and contract provision details
  • Ability to handle most customer interactions independently
  • Ability to explain basic information in functional area
  • Maintains satisfactory level of key performance indicators according to departmental requirements
  • Build relationships with servicing offices supporting our business
  • Processing of fixed in force transaction requests; premium payments, beneficiary and owner changes, address changes, billing changes, etc.
  • Reconcile daily transaction activity
  • Provide reporting upon request
  • Assist with pulling of documents for customer service requests
  • Interact with departments throughout the Company
  • Maintain organized files
  • Prepare and provide bills for policy owners and servicing offices
  • Account reconciliation and journal entries
  • Participate and support project work as needed; reviewing scans and documenting results on an excel spreadsheet
  • Prepping policy owner statements for BOLI lead
  • Assist record retention lead with tracking, organizing and prepping transactions for offsite scanning and storage
  • Answering phone calls from policy owners and servicing offices
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or call center experience required
  • Accountable, ethical, good decision-making ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; working knowledge of Access database a plus
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
