Credit Risk Technology Business Analyst/Project Manager

Position Overview:
  • Act as a liaison between Counterparty Credit Risk Analytics, ECM, Credit/Capital Business End users and Credit Risk Technology team
  • Manage all aspects of project implementations for Tier 1 Investment Banking Credit Risk System including managing development life-cycle, managing project scope, escalating and removing road-blocks for the team
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform business analysis; define business process and data flows/analysis
  • Identifying project impacts, dependencies and stakeholders
  • Work with Development team on technical design/implementation and document HLD/LLD
  • Work with Development team to define the project plan
  • Managing development lifecycle: Analysis, Design, Build, SIT, UAT, Deployment
  • Issue and Risk management - escalation and closure
  • Managing communications and expectations
  • Working with business stakeholders to define test plans and test scenarios
  • Coordinating UAT – tracking defects and progress
  • Facilitating requirements sign-off with stakeholders
  • Following-up on deployment tasks
 
Required Skills:
  • Highly motivated, excellent communication, interpersonal skill and the ability to work well with cross-organizational teams
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Experience in understanding financial markets and banking products
  • Experience around Monte-Carlo, Risk Analytics would be a definite advantage
  • Capable of planning/prioritizing and organizing projects to meet deadlines
  • Proven track record of participating in the delivery of risk technology solutions
  • Agile project management experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in SQL to perform data analysis
  • Strong technical competency in Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Excel
  • Desired Skills:
    • Computer Engineering/Financial Degree with 3-5 years experience in Credit Risk Technology or related field
