Position Overview:

  • Help design better content experiences in the digital ecosystem.

  • Responsible for architecting the content experience of the digital solutions, crafting a framework for creating and delivering content in line with our business goals and the users' diverse needs.

  • In this role, will work closely with UX/UI Design, Creative Strategy, Writers, Technology and Product Owners as part of an agile product team, designing and updating applications and web properties that serve a broad range of institutions.

  • Good content design ensures that users have great digital experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize needs and requirements into a scalable, sustainable content strategy across products and users

  • Be the voice of the content creator at client, ensuring that content workflows, lifecycles, and supporting tools are sustainable over the life of the product

  • Collaborate with UX and design teammates to determine the role of structured content/data in supporting or driving new features and functionality, and in the product as a whole

  • Partner with engineering teammates to define and prioritize technical requirements for content creation and delivery

  • Define content structure and usage requirements around both business and user needs

  • Use data and user research to drive content decisions for the digital user experience

  • Partner with UX/UI design counterparts to create detailed specifications, including documentation of strategic content decisions, architecture deliverables (e.g., content models, template guidelines) to document design decisions and considerations, and CMS requirements

  • Work closely with UX and visual design teammates to design, test, and implement effective and innovative content-driven digital experiences in our products

  • Craft and deliver presentations that communicate the thinking behind your approach in a way that is clear, succinct, and tailored to the presentation audience

  • A self-starter who enjoys getting into the weeds and untangling complex ecosystems

  • A strong negotiator who is willing to collaborate and find middle ground

  • Dedicated and passionate about the client's mission

  • A skilled communicator with data, words, and visualizations

  • Comfortable working in agile, or iterative design and delivery environments with a product focus

  • Effective, but easy-going, someone who isn't afraid to try and fail (or succeed)

  • Should be adept at collaborating on structured content experiences with your creative and engineering teammates.

  • Should be skilled at and comfortable with presenting to a range of leadership levels, from Program Owners to the Leadership Team, earning buy-in for the work in a manner that instills confidence in leadership at client

Experience;

  • Experienced working on data- and structured content-heavy digital products, including dashboards, survey applications, and websites supported by a shared CMS

  • 5 years' experience in this or a related field
