Position Overview:
  • Transparently and collaboratively completes concrete deliverables associated with category strategies, Supplier Management and Third Party Risk Management
  • Provides the analytics and slide creation support that clearly and succinctly summarizes the insights
  • Brings forth solutions to problems, rather than just problems

  • Primary:
    • Creates a dashboard that monitors progress against objectives for strategic suppliers
    • Manages an ideation portfolio from suppliers and tracks the implementation of these ideas
    • Supports the development, gathering and analysis of relevant performance metrics, surveys and ongoing supplier reviews through close collaboration with Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Business Partners and Supplier leadership teams
    • Prepares scorecards to regularly track the total value delivered to Business Units and progress against Goals & Objectives; requires close collaboration with matrix team members for data inputs
    • Develop recommendations based on completing business strategy tools, such as a SWOT analysis or a Porters Five Forces analysis, to challenge the thinking of matrix team members
    • Conducts ad-hoc analyses and provides recommendations
  • Secondary:
    • Act as a central point of contact with the Category Leads for the refreshing of global category taxonomies, preferred suppliers and buying compliance rules
    • Creates and maintains a newsletter to share team progress within the client and other areas in Client

  • Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts
  • Minimum of 3 - 4 years of procurement experience
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of procurement analyst experience
  • Supplier management, Internal stakeholder management, data/information management (analyst experience a plus), project management and performance measurement experience
  • Cross-functional team experience

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
  • Team player that will actively work on strategic and tactical activities as part of this role
  • Strong project management skills are essential
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytic skills
  • Must be an expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
  • Proficient user of Survey Monkey for the creation and analysis of surveys
