Position Overview:
  • The Change Management Specialist (temporary- 6 mos.) will be part of Client’s Change Management team and play an important role in leading Client toward its digital transformation efforts.
  • The Change Management Specialist will support a key organizational change project, by leading the change management work stream.
  • This individual will support a critical organizational transformation project by:
  • Developing and managing a change management plan
  • Supporting the development of a change agent network
  • Conducting change impact assessments and stakeholder interviews
  • Create project communications materials and visuals
  • Work with the project team to drive project toward delivery by providing status updates, helping develop creative solutions, and raising risks and interdependencies as appropriate
Required Skills:
  • Experience working with various change management models, tools and approaches
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to prepare and facilitate workshops both remote and in person
  • Competence with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; as well as SharePoint
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Balanced ability to think creatively and bring strong analytic skills to the project
  • Degree in Psychology, Organizational Psychology/Leadership, Communications or similar; graduate work a plus
  • 5 years' experience in leading and supporting change management
  • Basic understanding of the utility industry required, specific experience with asset management is preferred
  • Experience in stakeholder interviewing, synthesis of results, and recommending actions
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and feedback sessions
